PET ABUSE & NEGLECT
Have you ever seen what an abused and or neglected animal looks like? Tens of Thousands of animals are abused every day and killed in result of it. IT NEEDS TO STOP. Thankfully, there are MANY rescues out there that help abused and neglected animals. Including the ASPCA. (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.) Unfortuantley, there are many more animals than there are rescuers. We need to know what animal abuse looks like and report it. MANY people see animals being abused and do nothing about it. They think "Well it's not my animal", or "I don't want to get my neighbors angry with me." If you are seeing animal abuse and are doing nothing about it, then you are no better than the abuser. You are enabling the abuse. Call the police and have them difuse the situation. You can call annonymously and it is illegal for the police to disclose your information to the perpetrator. These animals cannot call the cops themselves. They need YOUR voice! You CAN call your local animal control, however if they seize the animal and it is aggressive it will immediatley be put to sleep. The shelters are SO over-crowded they cannot afford to take the time to rehabilitate every single one. And even if the animal is NOT aggressive, most shelters will ONLY hold the animal 24 to 72 hours before having it euthanized if it is not adopted in that time frame. In some of these pictures you will actually see the people hitting these animals. Abuse doesn't stop at DOGS & CATS! Pigs put in tiny gates, Elephants who have been beaten and bloodied, Bob cats beaten blind, Seals who have been clubbed, Horses starved and broken, Foxes being killed for their fur, monkey's being used for clinical experiements. These animals never did anything to deserve the abuse and neglect they received. They were just born. And their lives were snuffed out because they were deemed less usefull than people. It makes no sense to me and a lot of other people. There are animals who are starved to death just because some people think well better them than me. My question to them would be, Then why get the animal to begin with? This is called NEGLECT. Leaving your animal un-attended in a car with the windows rolled up is neglect and abuse. The way I see it, these animals deserve the same courtesy as someone's child does. A chance for a happy, healthy life. STOP THE ABUSE! ADVOCATE FOR ANIMALS!
ABUSE IS NEVER OK AND IT SHOULD BE REPORTED IMMEDIATLEY.
In the event you see abuse after your local Animal Shelter/ Animal control is closed, then PLEASE call the NON-EMERGENCY 911 number located in your phone book. Too many people say well it's too late at night, so i'll wait and call int he morning, BUT, By then it may be too late for the animal. Call WHEN you see it!
One big contributor of animal abuse is China. They beat their animals before killing them to torture them and by torturing them it "Brings out the flavor in the meat."
China has a height limit of their dogs, if they exceed it, the animal is taken out and beaten to death why people point, watch and laugh. One of the ultimate cruelties. The people in China who LOVE their animals have to sit by and watch their pets being beaten to death, and if they try to intervene, they are beaten and or taken to jail. BOYCOTT CHINA!
